There’s a lot to look forward to at Queensland Theatre in 2022.
In February, ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf‘, portrays a marriage in crisis, with a unique and funny twist, featuring complex characters and a story that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.
In March, ‘First Casualty‘, tells of the heartwarming friendship of Australian soldiers stationed in Afghanistan in 2011, and their triumphs and tragedies, sacrifices and concessions, intersected by humor and tension.
In May, ‘Don’t Ask What The Bird Look Like‘, will have you questioning what it means to belong and your identity, via the motive story of Joan, tracing her family roots.
Also in May, ‘Bernhardt/Hamlet‘, takes you on the journey of how Sarah Bernhardt set out to play Hamlet, a role traditionally reserved for men. Still echoing with relevance today, this show is a must watch.
