A new chapter on our ground floor. The name says it simply: take the high road. Grounded in Queensland produce, serious grill craft, and the kind of warm, unhurried hospitality that turns a first visit into a habit.
Brought to life by Nathan Toleman and The Mulberry Group, with executive chef Gareth Woolcock leading the kitchen. The menu moves with the seasons and is cooked simply, with care, over fire.
Buffet Breakfast covers the classics properly. Good bacon, local sausages, house made granola, fresh pastries and free range eggs cooked to order. Served from daily, it suits an early start or a slow South Brisbane morning.
Available from 12pm, enjoy Queensland seafood, snacks from the wood fire and cuts from the grill, for a working lunch or a long one a few minutes from South Bank.
From 5pm the woodfire grill takes over. Executive Chef Gareth Woolcock’s seasonal menu runs from oysters and charcuterie to steaks and chargrilled prawns, with sides and desserts that hold their own. Expect to order more than you planned.
The bar menu runs daily from 12pm. Australian wine with a European lean, local craft beer alongside familiar names, and cocktails that stay close to the classics. Come in for one drink after work or before a show at South Bank, or stay for the evening.
