Discover unique, hands-on wildlife experiences at Lone Pine these April school holidays. Designed for ages 3 to 17, each program offers engaging activities, exclusive animal encounters and behind-the-scenes access guided by expert keepers.

Sanctuary Sprouts (Ages 3–5)

A gentle, sensory-based session for young explorers and their grown-up. Children enjoy nature play, storytelling, movement and a special up-close animal moment, helping build curiosity, creativity and confidence.

Junior Keeper for a Day (Ages 5–12)

Kids step into the world of a wildlife keeper, caring for animals, meeting reptiles, creating enrichment items, and experiencing behind-the-scenes encounters. Available in two groups: Junior Joeys (5–8) and Senior Serpents (9–12).
Includes a koala encounter and guided activities throughout the sanctuary.

Teen Keeper for a Day (Ages 13–17)

Designed for teens passionate about wildlife, this immersive program includes animal training sessions, exhibit care, enrichment preparation, behind-the-scenes access, wildlife rescue basics and exclusive animal encounters.
Participants receive a koala moment and memento to take home.
