Novotel Longevity Week
Celebrate Longevity Week at Novotel Brisbane South Bank
Living longer is no longer the only goal. Living better is.
From 7 to 13 September 2026, Novotel Brisbane South Bank is joining more than 630 Novotel hotels worldwide to celebrate the inaugural Novotel Longevity Week.
This new annual global celebration brings together leading voices in wellbeing to share simple, science-backed habits that can help transform everyday life, one small step at a time.
Guests staying at our Brisbane South Bank hotel will be invited to explore practical ways to eat well, sleep better, move more and connect meaningfully, both during their stay and long after they return home.
One week. Four pillars. A lifetime of impact.
What if living better did not require a complete lifestyle overhaul?
Novotel Longevity Week is built around four everyday wellbeing pillars:
- EAT: Enjoying mindful, plant-forward food
- SLEEP: Making quality rest and recovery a priority
- MOVE: Finding enjoyable ways to be more active
- MEET: Creating meaningful moments of connection
These four pillars are complemented by Novotel’s commitment to protecting the ocean through its partnership with WWF.
The goal is not perfection. It is progress through small, sustainable habits that can become a natural part of everyday life.
Why is it called Longevity Week?
Longevity Week takes place during the 37th week of the year, from Monday 7 to Sunday 13 September 2026.
The timing is inspired by the Power of 37. When something improves by just 1% each day, those gains can compound into an approximately 37-fold improvement over one year.
Longevity Week turns that idea into action with a simple invitation: start small and start now.
The research behind Longevity Week
Novotel surveyed 13,000 people across 12 countries to understand how people feel about living longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
The research found:
- 71% of people are more focused on their future wellbeing than they were five years ago
- 76% wish they lived a healthier lifestyle
- 33% frequently abandon healthy routines
- 67% believe social media makes it harder to know which health advice to trust
While many people already understand the importance of balanced food, quality sleep and regular movement, maintaining consistent habits can be more difficult.
Longevity Week is designed to help close that gap by sharing trusted guidance and realistic ideas that can fit into daily life.
Meet the Novotel 37 Collective
Throughout Longevity Week, five international athletes, experts, creators and advocates will share their knowledge as part of the Novotel 37 Collective.
Each member brings one aspect of Novotel’s longevity philosophy to life:
- Kauli Vaast, Olympic gold medallist surfer, champions MOVE
- Alfie Steiner, plant-forward food creator, champions EAT
- Olivia Arezzolo, Australian sleep expert, champions SLEEP
- Javier Pastore, former Paris Saint-Germain footballer, champions MEET
- Kaushiik Subramaniam, ocean photographer and Novotel Ocean Defender, connects personal habits with planetary wellbeing
Together, they will share practical tips, honest routines and achievable ways to make wellbeing part of everyday life.

Movement does not need to be complicated. A relaxed walk, a refreshing swim or a few minutes of stretching can all contribute to a more energised day.
SLEEP: Make better rest part of your stay
Quality sleep supports recovery, energy and overall wellbeing, especially while travelling.
Longevity Week encourages guests to treat rest as an important part of their Brisbane itinerary. That might mean enjoying a slower morning, stepping away from screens before bed or simply making space for a quiet moment at the end of the day.
Guests can find further inspiration through the Novotel Longevity Week video available in-room and the dedicated Longevity Week section in our digital guest app.

At Novotel Brisbane South Bank, guests can enjoy time together while staying moments from the parklands, Brisbane River, cultural attractions and Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
